Step 1 Import your blue/green screen file and the video or image that you want to show through the blue screen.
Step 2 Put your blue screen file on the top layer of the time line and put the video or image that you want to have show through the blue screen on the layer below it.

Step 3 Double click on the blue screen file now and it should appear in the viewer window. Once that is done go to the effects tab in the browser and go to Video Filters > Key > Chroma Keyer.

Step 4 Click on the Chroma Keyer video filter and drag it into the viewer screen. (Note- make sure you double clicked on your blue screen layer first other wise you might be putting the effect in the wrong place.)

Step 5 Now in the color bar select the color blue that you are using in your blue screen file and you should see the blue area in the Canvas screen disappear and you should be able to see the video/image that is on the layer below it. And that’s it. There are other ways to do blue screening but this is one of the basic ways of doing it.
