Anyone know where to go buy a CD of flash MX?

I went on amazon it was $649!! Any cheaper ones???

why flash mx? flash 8 is out now. and since adobe bought macromedia there will be another one comming soon. you go to school at all? check if there is a student discount anywhere. 646 is alot of only flash, you sure its not the whole macromedia studio?

I'm not sure what do you recommend? Cuase IDK know which one i want..lol

I want the thing/program to makes games like the ones miniclip.com have.. Etc. And your know lil movies intro for my site.. lol lil stuff like that :P

i wouldnt get MX, flash 8 is alot better and would be the better choice. like i said see if your school offers a student discount on software.

Nope they don't, Also flash 8 how much is that?

I've seens 400's But, if i can't find a cheaper one. I was thinking to go buy one in Guatemala this summer.

but thats flash basic not flash pro

what the difference between the 2???

flash basic does almost everything flash pro does. it does all the basic animation stuff, im pretty sure it has all the actionscripting in it. but if i remember correctly it just doesnt have some the encoding and stuff that pro has, some behaviors and stuff.

That is very cheap.But, I'm not into bidding, I might bid at the last minute. But, I'm looking for more of a buy then a bid. Also it's basic. I will go check w/ my cousin's in Guatemala if they can find me a deal ;)

ya that's a really good price if you were to buy it strait from adobe it would run you $699
